In the four corners area September 2008. These pictures are from a 27 day trip of which I was accompanied by Linus Tremaine & Nikkie for 2 weeks.
I wrote a journal for this trip but there are a lot of pictures that didn't fit into the journal, several of which are being posted here.
Below are pictures taken in Zion National park September 2008


Squirrels were plentiful along the Zion canyon floor and are quite used to humans. They need to put on a thick layer of fat during the summer to survive the winter. The one above looks like it was quite successful at storing reserves for the winter.




Below are pictures taken at Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park, Utah
The park covers 3,730 acres and is surrounded by red sandstone cliffs and forest. 1,000 acres is open to vehicles plus there are nearby trails.
The campground has 22 units and showers.
